TRUE STORY FROM.. THE HOUSTON HERALD NEWSPAPER

May 31, 2009 – 2:58 pm | by god

Last Thursday Night Around Midnight,
A Woman From Houston , Texas Was Arrested, Jailed, And Charged With Manslaughter
For Shooting A Man 6 Times In The Back As He Was Running Away With Her Purse.
The Following Monday Morning,
The Woman Was Called In Front Of The Arraignment Judge, Sworn In, And Asked To Explain Her Actions.
The Woman Replied, “I Was Standing At The Corner Bus Stop For About 15 Minutes,
Waiting For The Bus To Take Me Home After Work. I Am A Waitress At A Local Cafe…
I Was There Alone, So I Had My Right Hand On My Pistol, That Was In My Purse, That Was Hung Over My Left Shoulder.
All Of A Sudden I Was Being Spun Around Hard To My Left.
As I Caught My Balance, I Saw A Man Running Away From Me With My Purse.
I Looked Down At My Right Hand And I Saw That My Fingers Were Wrapped Tightly Around My Pistol.
The Next Thing I Remember Is Saying Out Loud, ” No Way Punk! You’re Not Stealing My Pay Check And Tips.”
I Raised My Right Hand, Pointed My Pistol At The Man Running Away From Me With My Purse,
And Squeezed The Trigger Of My Pistol 6 Times!
When Asked By The Arraignment Judge, “Why Did You Shoot The Man 6 Times?
The Woman Replied Under Oath,  “Because, When I Pulled The Trigger Of My Pistol The 7th Time,
It Only Went Click.”

The Woman Was Acquitted Of All Charges.

And She Was Back At Work, At The Cafe, The Next Day!

Why Is Every Word Capitalized? That Is Very Very Annoying! See?

Plus, I seriously doubt anyone would get off scot-free for shooting someone six times over a purse snatching, even in Texas.

OH DAMN what I’d give it that were a true story. Vigilantes could do SO MUCH for our crime rate.

I am merely trying to find out if this is true and whether it was Houston, Texas or Houston, Missouri. Is there a real newspaper in Houston TX called the “herald”? Or is this just an internet blog from Houston, MO?
I really do not care for these kinds of stories that are made up and then appear to be so oblivious because they stir up so many questions.
When you search for “The Houston Herald Newspaper” you get some internet blog out of Missouri! What’s with that?
As for the story….I recall one from San Antonio, TEXAS many years ago about an elderly lady in Travis Park at a bus stop who shot and killed a would be purse snatcher and no charges were brought against her, either. At this time it was ‘illegal’ for anyone but a police officer to carry a handgun and or someone who was licensed to do so. There was no comment on this subject back then. I was a teenager living in San Antonio at the time.

I seriously doubt this is true…although i wish it were possible to Cap every asshole who commits crime on the streets. I would hang out in the Hood for the opportunity to practice my shooting skills.

The paper, “Houston Herald,” is the local paper for the city of Houston, county of Texas, state of Missouri.

Further, I am unable to verify that the story actually occurred.

However, in Texas (state of), it is a justifiable homicide to shoot someone in the back and kill them if they are fleeing with movable property (whether yours or a third persons) after the immediate commission of a robbery or burglary and you have reasonable doubt that the property would be recoverable by any other means. [See Texas Penal Code, Chapter 9, § 9.42 & 9.43].

This is why the Harris County Grand Jury no-bid Joe Horn of Pasadena, Texas, when he shot those two thieves in the back with a shotgun, as they were RUNNING AWAY FROM HIM, and killed them.

Do not come to Texas and act like a jack@$$. That can get you killed.
